Calling all cyclists, it’s time to take things up a gear, grab your helmet, bucket loads of enthusiasm and get ready to have plenty of fun as we gear up for the Taupo District’s annual festival of cycling, BikeFest.

Whether you’re a hard core BMX fan, mountain biker, tiny tot cyclist, enduro rider, street racer or just enjoy the sport of spectating, you’re guaranteed to find something at BikeFest that hooks you in and gets your wheels spinning.

The week-long festival leading up to New Zealand’s largest cycling event, the Contact Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge, aims to get more people taking part and staying for longer in the Taupo District to experience the hundreds of activities and sensational experiences on offer.
